University of Exeter - Brand-led content
I work closely with the multimedia design team at the University of Exeter, helping to translate and maintain the university’s brand identity across digital, motion and communications.
Working within established brand systems and alongside the wider team, I take ownership of the adaptation and development of motion-led content for websites, social media, campaigns and events. A key part of my role is interpreting complex messaging and making decisions on how it is best expressed across different formats - while maintaining consistency with the wider brand identity.
No two projects are quite the same, from animating medical research films to developing campaign assets and event content for student and university communications. I focus on making complex information clear, engaging and accessible through motion and design, while keeping everything aligned with a cohesive visual identity through all touch points.

Client feedback
"Having worked with Lorna over a number of years, I have found her to be lovely to work with and know I can rely upon her to answer the brief pragmatically and with minimum of fuss, even in the most challenging of circumstances."

How I Work

I’ve worked with the University of Exeter since 2022 - continuing through it's rebrand and ongoing evolution. Working closely with the team I help to translate and embed the university’s refreshed visual identity across a wide range of communications. This has developed into a strong, ongoing and highly trusted relationship focused on maintaining consistency while evolving how the brand is expressed across different platforms and for various audiences. The high level of autonomy I’m given allows me to develop and drive forward both the client’s ideas and my own.
I’m excited to carry on growing our partnership and exploring how the university’s brand can evolve across future campaigns.
