Environmental sustainability is a key issue for businesses and society in general, as people realise that current industrial, economic and social systems are creating or already have created problems for the future. This policy depicts how we will aim to integrate carbon and environmental management into my processes and how we will be looking to reduce our carbon footprint.

We aim to; do our best to work towards sustainability, respect, embrace and proactively support carbon-reducing and reducing environmental impact, demonstrate commitment to managing, minimising and mitigating the impacts from business operations and activities, and seek to minimise the environmental impact of the business through environmentally conscious decision making.
Below are our strategies to help reduce our impact and give something positive back to the world.
Environmental
LW Creative intends to minimise its carbon footprint by operating a virtual business structure. This allows us to avoid excess travel. We also use the most efficient, practical mode of transport for each journey, when a journey is required. We work with international clients and partners using modern communication technologies and avoid the use of transport. In 2024-2025 over 90% of meetings took place online, rather than in person.
Most of the services we provide can be delivered with no physical goods, production or transportation
Scripts and documents are digitised. We try to avoid using physical stationery and printing documents. In 2024-2025, we reduced printing by working 100% online only. Wherever possible our stationery is recycled or recyclable. We use wood and paper only from sustainable sources where available
We use reusable coffee cups and coffee that is produced with a commitment to responsible farming, responsible production and supply
The electricity supplied to us is 100% renewable, we use low energy light bulbs and ensure that equipment is shut down after work
We reduce by only buying products that we need, re-use by using second-hand products where available and try to recycle or compost as much of our waste as possible. Our refurbished equipment has saved over 65% of CO2 compared to purchasing like-for-like equipment as brand new items
Our electronic equipment we use has an EPA ENERGY STAR 5.2 qualification for its low power consumption, EPEAT Gold status for its responsible manufacture, energy efficiency and recyclability and is made mainly from recyclable materials and is, therefore, more likely to be recycled and reused at the end of its long, productive life
We use Google Workspace, who are dedicated to net zero by 2030. Cloud workspace, storage, avoiding further digital emissions.
We try to keep our carbon emissions to a minimum and we are working on making our website more environmentally friendly by researching site adjustments and carbon offsetting options.
Social
We maintain healthy relationships with our clients and accommodate their needs wherever possible
We look to support local charities, non-profits and CIC’s wherever possible
We use local suppliers where possible to reduce our carbon footprint and stimulate the local economy
We comply with all equal opportunities laws and regulations
We refuse to work with organisations involved with ethically or morally dubious activities, such as tobacco and investing in fossil fuels
Financial
We keep costs to a minimum by virtual operation of the business using modern communication technologies
We avoid ethical liabilities by implementing our policies listed above
